MCAF collaborated with Bizart for the organization of its show "Portraits, Figures, Couples and Groups" in the Shanghai Biennale of 2000.

It covers 300 square metres on two levels with ten metre ceilings encorporating exhibition space and stock room. The gallery publishes numerous catalogues which are also available. Chinese Contemporary Beijing favours group exhibitions, showing four or five a year, and gives preference to contemporary Chinese creation. The Beijing space will also be introducing artists from other countries.

Opened in May of 1996, the CourtYard is situated in a unique location in Beijing; directly across form the East Gate of the Forbidden City. The 150 year-old structure of this typical courtyard house has undergone complete renovation for its contemporary function. The gallery's approach is not to limit itself to the confines of a particular art style. 	Eastlink Gallery : http://www.eastlinkgallery.com/ Eastlink Gallery is primarily known for its pioneering work in establishing an exciting interactive space for contemporary art in Shanghai. Since its opening in October 1999, the gallery has aimed to create a space where artists, particularly emerging artists and those underrepresented in conventional forums, can exhibit their work and exchange ideas with their peers.

	Ethan Cohen Fine Arts : Ethan Cohen Fine Arts specializes in and represents Asian and Asian inspired contemporary artists. Mr. Cohen began his career as an art dealer in 1981 after receiving a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from Harvard University. During his many travels to Asia, he developed long lasting relationships with many of the leading artists from China. He committed himself to promoting their work and subsequently, in 1987, he opened up the first gallery in New York to specialize in the Chinese avant-garde.

	Goedhuis Contemporary : http://www.goedhuiscontemporary.com Michael Goedhuis opened Goedhuis Contemporary in London in 1995 and inaugurated the New York space in January 2002, after spending two decades specialising in early Asian art. His principal activity today is the promotion of leading Chinese contemporary artists throughout the world. Goedhuis Contemporary's artists come from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Paris, Hawaii, New York and London. The only criterion for inclusion in the gallery's exhibition network is the quality of work and its capacity to be relevant to and significant for the modern world. The policy of the gallery is to give intensive exposure to its artists in one-person exhibitions in London and New York and also through its network of art fairs in America, Europe and Asia.Recently he opened an office in Beijing so as to be able to more rapidly identify emerging talents in China.

	Pickled Art Centre : http://www.pickleart.com/ The Pickled Art Centre of Beijing had its beginnings as the personal studio of artist and sculptor Li Gang. By 1999, a bronze casting foundry was established on the premises. Through Li Gang's vision and foresight, the Pickled Art Center has now evolved into a comprehensive art and sculpture development center offering a wide variety of material resources, facilities and technical expertise especially designed for the creation of sculpture. The Pickled Art Centre has established a reputation as a locus for international exchange as artists from around the world have come to live and work in China and to exchange ideas and approaches. The comprehensive living and studio facilities of centre foster interaction, community and collaboration. The Pickled Art Centre also offers an exciting range of ongoing curated on-site exhibitions at the Pickled Art Centre Gallery featuring the works of both Chinese and International artists in all media.

	Red Gate Gallery : http://www.redgategallery.com/ Red Gate was founded in 1991 by Australian Brian Wallace. In 1988 he began organizing exhibitions for young Chinese artists which eventually lead to the establishment of Red Gate Gallery at the Dongbianmen Watchtower. Since then Red Gate has been exhibiting up to eight solo shows per year, complimented by guest-curated exhibitions from China and overseas. Red Gate is very much involved in Residency Programs which provide artists, curators, writers and academics with an opportunity to live and work in China. Red Gate has a number of fully self-contained apartments and studio/lofts available which are ready to use.
