The
Modern Chinese
Art Foundation
generally organizes shows for periods of more
or less three months. One up to three works may be highlighting, during this period. To do so, it is displayed in the front area of the foundation in Gent, directly behind the windows and lit until late at night. Information on the artist, such as a biography, a bibliography, texts, essays and publications may be consulted inside. The foundation sometimes invites a Belgian contemporary artist to "open a dialogue" with the exhibited work or with the totality of the works of the exhibited artist. The works of the Belgian artist are then exhibited, for the same period of time, inside the MCAF premises. In the Beijing premises, a display, possibly accompanied by exposition of other works of the same artist is organized during the same period.
